ABOUT US

The Mr. Executive Senior Boys Business and Gentleman’s Challenge was created in 2017 by Mr. Winston Cumberbatch former 5th and 6th year head at the St. Leonard’s Boys’ School Barbados and is now being coordinated by EduCreations Caribbean which he founded after retiring

from the teaching service.

 

The primary objectives of the challenge are:

1. To cultivate positive business ethics and entrepreneurial skills within our boys.

2. To equip them for the world of work, enabling them to make a positive contributing to society.

3. To help them become gentlemen in their attitudes, deportment, and relationships with women.

The challenge focuses on dress, punctuality, academics, service, business ethics, entrepreneurship, and gentlemanly conduct throughout its two stages - preliminary and final.

 

To make the contest even more of a business challenge, the $20 Challenge was introduced in the second edition in 2022, facilitated by the Barbados Entrepreneurship Foundation and its sponsors.

 

In 2023, a Leadership element involving community projects was added and facilitated in conjunction with the Ministry of Youth, Sports, and Community Empowerment in Barbados.
